How Everything Started:
Isabelle, a successful clothing designer, born in South Africa, immigrated to Israel in 1976 and met Eduardo. They married and had three beautyfull childrens: Gabriella, Imanuel, and Malca.
In 1988, Isabelle and Eduardo Recanati established Imaga in the settlement of Tekoa.
Wordplay and Hats: Family love
How to chose a name: fueled by Eduardo's love of wordplay, led to the company's name: Imaga, using the first initials of the family members (I with: Imanuel, Malka, Gabriela).
The Family Bussines
At the begining Imaga focused on exporting hats to the United States.
In 2009, Imanuel, joining the family business, started as a sales agent. He also spearheaded the opening of a line for stores within Israel. This is how he met Julie, the manager of the "Hamsa And Kessef" chain at a central station.
The Second Generation Takes the Stage
In 2011, Emanuel and Julie married, taking over the management of Imaga as the second generation! Since its inception, Imaga has remained a family business, with Isabelle, Imanuel, and Julie at the helm.
Then and Now
Imanuel and Julie had childrens to, and now they working together at the marketing and social media.
